There are several races living together on the moon of Lacuna and each of these races has several different breeds that differentiate them even further. Below you will find information on the most prominent of these races and breeds.

The most socially advanced and strategically poised race of beings on Lacuna, the Myrians have enjoyed nearly 500 years of peace on the moon of Lacuna. There are 3 breeds of Myrians, the priMyrian, the suMyrian, and the norMyrian (or Frejan). The priMyrian are the most abundant and politically active. They are a breed of Temperate dwellers who enjoy the niceities of life and prefer to stay behind their borders. Their darker skinned cousins, the suMyrians are desert people and inhabit most of Helion. The norMyrians (Frejans), a pale skinned breed, are an artic people and live on and in the glacier to the north.

Humens come from the moon of Hume, hence the odd spelling (Humen rather than Human). They essentially resemble the people of earth, hailing from around the middle ages. There are 4 distinct breeds of Humens that survived the Great Migration.

The most abundant, Aryns have light to medium skin tones and vary the most as far as features are concerned. This is due to their abundance and intermixing with other breeds. The Tortans are desert people and have exceptionally dark skin tones and broad facial features. The Fenlies are island people also having dark skin but with narrower facial features. The final distinct group are the Gorgals. They have a noticeable yellow tinge to their skin, and pointed ears similar, however not nearly as pronounced, to Myrians.

Gherens are a breed of Nibeling that feverishly worship the Godheads. As such they spend much of their time crafting, mining, and developing industrial items. Most of the coal, gold, and steel come from one of the two nations of Gherens. Gherens, like all Nibelings, look very similar to slightly stout Humens. However, their highly mutagenic DNA mixed with the abundance of free mana has caused them to become more stout due to their environment and activities. This newly developed shape has helped them survive in the mines and has aided them in constructing the massive amounts of goods they supply to the inhabitants of Lacuna.

The Pymians are a breed of Nibeling that are vastly different from their Gheren cousins. Separating themselves from the Gheren society, they moved into the Valley of Hushma. Their highly mutagenic DNA mixed with the abundance of free mana, caused them to quickly evolve away from their Gheren cousins. Becoming smaller and thinner the Pymians took on the size of Humen children. The Valley of Hushma became known as the Shire of Pym and is known for is incredible, year-round fertility. Pymians have capitalized on this and have become the greatest farmers on Lacuna.

The Khoblens are the native people of Lacuna and have been displaced by the other races. Shortly out of the stone age (as of 500 years ago), the Khoblens are in a desperate struggle to survive on a world that has been taken from them. Many Khoblens have learned to live with their neighbors but many more see them as infidels and are actively looking to remove them from their beloved homeland.

Hailing from the moon of Gorax, the breed know as the Glidden have set up a colony on Lacuna. They travel to and from Lacuna using a lay-portal for the purposes of observation and trade. Gliddens are rarely seen outside of their colony but some members of their society enjoy traveling and adventuring among the other races.
